2. Access and language — necessary
__Host-figoo_admin is the HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax administrative session cookie, lasting up to 8 hours unless ended or revoked. Sign in with ChatGPT uses a technical session managed by Sites; the provider manages expiry and sign-out. figoo-language is saved on an explicit language choice: a session cookie and localStorage lasting until changed or cleared. Language may also be saved to your account. These tools are not used for advertising.
3. iChef — necessary to remember your choice
localStorage vp_choice_ followed by the site identifier holds choice, version, expiry and a random receipt identifier. Validity is six months; an expired entry is no longer accepted as valid consent but may remain until replaced or cleared. Server receipts are separate and follow the privacy notice’s retention criteria.
4. Unsplash — optional
With consent, example images load from images.unsplash.com, provided by Unsplash Inc. HTTPS requests disclose IP and technical metadata; Figoo does not install an application cookie for this service. See https://unsplash.com/privacy for the provider’s technologies and retention; a single numeric retention period for its technical data has not been verified. Without consent, placeholders appear; files and images hosted by Figoo remain available. Other unconfigured external image hosts remain blocked.
5. Invitations and other tools
New invitations pass a code in the link and signup form without setting the former persistent figoo-ref cookie. An old cookie may remain until its original 30-day expiry; it is not read to attribute new registrations and is deleted when a new invitation link is opened. There are no integrated Analytics tools, advertising pixels, remote fonts or embedded social feeds. Infrastructure may manage technical security tools under its own documentation.
6. Change or withdraw
Open “Cookie preferences” in the footer or the iChef button. Decline, accept or customise while retaining marketplace access. If saving fails, images remain blocked. Withdrawal stops further loads but cannot undo earlier requests. Substantial changes or expiry may require a new choice. Clearing browser data does not erase server receipts.
